Groundnuts, also known as earth peanuts (Arachis Hypogaea) are in fact botanically legume, it is a species in the bean family, Fabaceae. It is widely grown in Sudan’s western and eastern states, and is locally known as (Foul Sudani).
Peanuts are consumed in many forms such as boiled peanuts, peanut oil, peanut butter, roasted peanuts, energy bars and candies. Peanuts are considered as a vital source of nutrients.
Peanuts are an excellent source of many vitamins and minerals. These include biotin, copper, niacin, folate, manganese, vitamin E, thiamine, phosphorus, and magnesium.
Groundnut is packed in 25/50 KG PP bags, 19 metric tons in 20 feet containers.
